Meadowlane Nursery School
About Meadowlane Nursery School
Meadowlane Nursery School opened in 1967 when Sally Wysong started a new school in a local church.  Two years later, Sally and David Wysong purchased the building we currently occupy from the Lincoln Public Schools through a bidding process.  In 1998, Sara and Bill Bevans purchased the building from the Wysongs; and the tradition continues, entering our 53rd year of serving families.
We believe that each child grows at his/her own pace and should be treated as an individual.  We nurture, listen and adapt our program to fit the needs of the child, not fit the child into the program.  We want every child to feel success every day and to meet new challenges  This will enable him/her to construct his/her own knowledge and grow and develop into happy individuals with positive self concepts.

We want to work with the parents and get to know the whole family.  We can better understand the child through conferences, parental visits, as well as social and educational events.  We also hope to grow as teachers through inservice training and conference attendance.

CREATIVITY, DISCOVERY, PROBLEM SOLVING and IMAGINATION are key asects of our program.  Enthusiasm is contagious and we hope to infect you with our loving and caring school.
